Let’s start from the beginning: How, when and where did you start?
When I first picked up a camera I would have been about 6 or 7 years old. A Kodak instamatic, with a 126 cartridge loading film. The first camera I actually owned was an Olympus Trip 35mm compact, I think I would have been around 12. First SLR was a Zenith EM a couple of years later. I started just taking pictures of friends, family, places we would visit, no real style, no real direction. Just documenting people and events they were involved in. At this point, I liked the idea of photographing models, but had no real idea how to go about it. Maybe it was just hormones!
Whose idea was it?
I have always loved the way latex looks, the reflective and form fitting qualities. Turing mere mortals into Superheroes or Sex Goddesses! Of course getting the courage to then proceed to taking photographs of someone wearing latex was a greater challenge. But, I got there. Only took about 20 years!
