Mango Fashion uses an Instagram user´s photo without his authorization.
photo instagramers Tuana on Mango ClothIf few months ago a very well known magazine used without any permission, a picture of our friend @sionfullana, today @Tuana our Instagramers manIger from Skovde (Sweden) that one of his photos is used (without any authorization) in a garment of the brand Mango. Tuana Aziz is one of our beloved Swedish Instagramers and we interviewed him about his project last year.
Tuana is very concerned since he worked for a long time in a book called THE LAST PRINCESS with all his passion and sees today one of his favorite works (it´s Tuana´s profile photo actually) in a garment of international clothing brand. And without authorization.
Tuana found it by surprise visiting a store in Sweden and then ratify the misuse of one of his photos in the on-line catalogue of the brand.
¨ I´m really upset… I Don´t know what to do “ says Tuana. Me neither… But we can´t accept this kind of behavior…
Probably Mango trusted in an original design of ¨a clever designer¨ from wherever that caught without scruple a photo from Instagram but from Instagramers.com we must ensure the respect and authority of the art work of our members and friends.
I do not know if it will help or not, but we can not let this kind of thing go. Please spread the word.[sc:BR]
T-shirt con foto di Facebook e Instagram: un’azienda la vende senza autorizzazione del fotografo!
Avete bisogno di un’immagine per il vostro sito web? Basta una ricerca veloce in internet e sicuramente troverete ciò di cui avrete bisogno. Un ragionamento alquanto sbagliato anche se seguito da un piccolo portale, figuriamoci se applicato da una grande azienda. Il sistema evidenziato, però, non è usato solo da coloro che non hanno scopo di lucro, ma anche da chi vuole lanciare un prodotto con l’obiettivo di guadagnare.
Instagram mette a disposizione un portfolio fotografico eccezionale, ci vuole molto poco per trovare dei meravigliosi scatti che, tra le tante cose, potrebbero essere perfetti anche per divenire la stampa principale di una t-shirt! Mango, un noto negozio di abbigliamento on line, mette in vendita delle particolari magliette che sfoggiano delle interessanti fotografie. Peccato che una di queste appartenga ad un utente di Instagram che non è stato assolutamente contattato dall’azienda, ma ha semplicemente notato il suo scatto su una delle loro t-shirt in vendita!
Il fotografo, derubato del suo scatto, si chiama Tuana Aziz ed ha usato il suo profilo di Twitter per diffondere il suo stato d’animo. “The Last Princess” è il nome che aveva dato alla sua fotografia nello scorso agosto del 2011 ed ora lo scatto è presente su un capo di abbigliamento: un onore, se solo ci fosse stato un accordo con il professionista.
Sul suo profilo ufficiale di Instagram (@tuana) troviamo in bella vista non solo la foto incriminata, ma anche uno screenshot del negozio Mango che vende la maglietta con stampata lo scatto di Tuana Aziz. Via: instagramers
Sarebbe il caso di fare causa all’azienda? Probabilmente si, ma se Aziz non se ne fosse accorto?
