Spandex sculpted me: An interview with Heyoka of Eyesonnylon

Let’s start from the beginning: Where did you start posing?
My husband describes me as a unicorn for my fashion sense and loves to take photos of me but to describe where my Spandex fashion started this goes way back to my childhood. When I was little I had a collection of second hand 80’s Barbie’s and I absolutely fell in love with the small shiny Barbie clothes 😊 The Barbie clothes were so soft, shiny and so colourful. However as a 90’s kid I noticed I didn’t have any similar clothing items, my wardrobe was more wools, cotton’s and denim. Next I was introduced to Gymnastics and the leotards were very expensive and i was especially grateful for them not only realising the cost but I absolutely adored the colours and fabric. I feel like such a winner in Lycra/Spandex and enjoyed such fun as a young gymnast. From my late teens to now, Ive always enjoyed wearing sports clothing and equally I enjoy fabulous glossy tights and Bodystockings just as much , the silky smooth comfort has always been there 😊
